‘In Him the debt is cancelled-liquidated. In Him I am pardoned and accepted. We no longer stand condemned. We made mistakes-grievous mistakes. We hurt others and we hurt ourselves. We mocked God. But for all that we deserve, we received freedom instead.

God did not condemn us-He condemned sin, and so we are free to live. God presents us again and again with truth that we are sinful and that we need Him. And when we understand this, His revelation that we have been pardoned is all the more sweeter.’
